On August 17th, Weekapaug Inn’s Executive Chef – Jennifer Backman and Ocean House’s President – Daniel Hostettler, showed their culinary skills for MASH’s benefit event – Iron Chefs Auction for Action. Our team crossed knives with Oyster Club’s Executive Chef – David Awad and the Honorable Rob Simmons. Everyone could sense the tension in the air as the two teams were showing their best on the counter, the tension rose even more when the meals were done because not everyone was able to try them.
