Living Room
The resort’s centerpiece, the Living Room is a comfortable setting, decorated in a traditional style with cozy chairs and couches to curl up in front of the stone fireplace and relax.
Weekend afternoons provide the perfect opportunity to unwind with a cup of tea and a selection of delectable treats during our traditional Afternoon Tea.
In the evening, cocktails and live music set a tone of ease and pleasure at day’s end, along with a sushi menu in the summer months. Whether you are just arriving or seeking shade after a day at the beach, the Living Room’s inviting comfort is the perfect way to unwind.
Afternoon Tea
Our traditional Afternoon Tea includes a variety of teas accompanied by a selection of tea sandwiches, scones, pastries and sweets.
Sushi
Available seasonally, our sushi menu features classics like the spicy tuna roll, scallop roll and vegetable dragon roll from our local neighbors at Koi Restaurant in Westerly, RI. Our Living Room is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a light Asian-inspired menu while listening to the sounds of our piano and the bustle of New England summer travel.
Live Entertainment
On Friday and Saturday evenings, local celebrities Al Copley and Michael Campbell take over the Living Room piano, transforming it into an intimate music lounge. Enjoy a signature Ocean House cocktail while tapping your toes to their energetic tunes.
Al Copley
Al Copley, arranger and co-founder of Roomful of Blues, has been performing extensively in Europe and the northeast US for the past few years, and continues to develop in style and taste, always noted for energy, versatility and impeccable harmony.
Michael Campbell
Michael Campbell is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Amherst College and holds a doctorate in piano from Peabody Conservatory. When he’s not in the Living Room, Michael can be found playing his smooth melodies alongside Ocean House’s resident cabaret performer, Marion Markham.
