"There's nothing quite like the sound of the ocean waves while fishing with close friends. I love this place!

FISHING

New England has widely been accepted as one of the best fishing areas in North America. Fishing off the coast of Watch Hill is certainly recognized as one of the premiere fishing areas in New England. Many saltwater anglers annually travel to Watch Hill, RI to catch some of the freshest fish anywhere. Two of the more popular fish caught here are Striped Bass and Bluefish. Anglers routinely catch 25-40 lb. bass here. Bluefish, another popular fish in bountiful supply, are fierce fighters who are always a challenge to catch. Other fish frequently caught here include bonita & false albacore, fluke, and blackfish. Watch Hill is home to two boatyards, the Watch Hill Boatyard, Inc., and the Watch Hill Docks which happily await any new visitors. Many anglers enjoy success casting off Watch Hill's beautiful shoreline, Napatree Point or near the famous Watch Hill Lighthouse.   John Prigmore is the area's fishing expert always willing to share important advice.
