Town of Westerly, RI and East Connecticut Border Westerly is the first city across the Connecticut border. It is in the southwest corner of Rhode Island. The Atlantic coast line includes Watch Hill, Misquamicut, Weekapaug, and many other beach towns going up the coast to Newport.
Watch Hill, Westerly, RI Watch Hill Cove is the yacht basin for the Watch Hill Yacht Club. The Watch Hill Inn is located in Historic Watch Hill looking over the Watch Hill Cove and Little Narragansett Bay. Access to Watch Hill is via Route 1A or Watch Hill Road leading into Bay Street the heart of the shopping village. Magnificent beaches surround Watch Hill, ideal for boating, and water sports.
Bay Street fronts on the Cove. The views from Bay Street afford the most spectacular sunsets in all of New England. The Village loop is Bay Street left into Larkin Road, the left into Bluff Avenue, then left into Plimpton Road, and back to Bay Street. The Watch Hill Inn & Annex is located on Bay Street in the Village loop.
Watch Hill Inn & Annex 38 - 44 Bay Street is the large white building just 300 feet passed Plimpton Road on Bay Street. The Reception Office 44 Bay Street Shop is located to the right of the parking lot for the Watch Hill Inn & Annex complex which is controlled by traffic gates. Your GPS system will take you to the end of Bay Street, so be sure to identify the Watch Hill Inn as it is the largest building on Bay Street Obtain your residence key and gate fab from the Reception Office.

From BOSTON, MA         Heading South on I-95.  Take (RI) exit 1.  Turn right onto    Rt. 3, (proceed on Rt. 3 for 2.5 miles), then left onto Rt. 78.  Take Rt.  78 all the way to the traffic light at the intersection with Rt. 1.  Go across Rt. 1 onto Airport Road.  At the first stop sign on Airport Road go straight.  At second stop sign take a left onto Watch Hill Road.  You will be on Watch Hill Road for approximately 3 miles.    The Watch Hill Inn is the big white building with green shutters over looking the Watch Hill Cove just 300 feet past Plimpton Road. From HARTFORD, CT  Take Route 2 East to Route 11 South then Route 85 to Interstate 95 North to Exit 92 (CT).  Follow as directed from New York-New Haven directions. From NEWPORT, RI Follow Route 1 South and bear left onto Scenic Route 1A (Shore Road).  Follow Scenic Route 1A to the end.  Take a left onto Watch Hill Road follow for approximately 2.5 miles.    The Watch Hill Inn is the big white building with green shutters over looking the Watch Hill Cove just 300 feet past Plimpton Road.
