GENERAL DESCRIPTION Watch Hill Village is a peninsula of land surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, Little Narraganset Bay where the Atlantic meets the Long Island Sound. The Watch Hill Inn originally built in 1845 expanded to three building in one gated complex offering 40 private residences is beautifully centered on the Harbor overlooking the Watch Hill Yacht Club with many classic yachts. The Club sponsors Regattas every Wednesday during the High Season. The panoramic sunset views and yachting experience is breathtaking. The Watch Hill Beach Club while private offers many water activities which can be viewed from the bulkhead immediately located in front of the Watch Hill Inn and costal frontage. Don't be startled by the cannon blast which occurs every sunrise and sunset, in addition to the winners as the cross the finish line. Look for the famous classic teak motor yacht "Aphrodite" moored at the pier in front of the Watch Hill Inn. |

Nappatree Point, Watch Hill RI - extends over two miles and showcases magnificent
scenery such as Fisher's Island and the whitewashed brick structure with granite
tower known as the 1808 Historic Watch Hill Lighthouse. Many boaters anchor to enjoy Nappatree Point for quiet ocean-side walks and some of the best bird-watching in New England. During the summer, this beach is often packed with boaters, anglers, water skiers, and knee boarders.

OTHER NEAR BY BEACHES Misquamicut Beach, Misquamicut RI and Weekapaug Beach, Weekapaug, RI, are two beautiful beaches just northeast of East Beach. Atlantic Beach Park at Misquamicut includes a Ferris wheel, kiddy amusement park, carousel, miniature golf and more. Altogether, this ten mile stretch of beach highlights much of the reason why Rhode Island is called the Ocean State. Whether you're looking for a solitary walk with
