Once in Watch Hill you don't need a car. You
can rent bicycles on you way in to Watch Hill Village. This is a great way to see Watch Hill and its
neighboring communities. Rental locations in Downtown Westerly RI. |

Foxwoods Casino with 16 restaurants
is located approximately 25 minutes from Watch Hill Village. The MGM
Grand Hotel and Casino in a new addition. Las Vegas type shows are
offered. |

| The Mohegan Sun is an Indian reservation with a huge hotel complex and large gaming facility with many restaurants and night life opportunities. Approximately 35 minutes from the Watch Hill Inn. | ||||||||||
| Concerts |
During the Summer Season, the Watch Hill
Business Association offers Tuesday night Concerts on the grassy knoll
across from the Watch Hill Inn at the waterfront. Each week brings a
different band from 6-8pm prior to sunset. See "Events Calendar" for more info. |

| Ferry Service |
Docked in front of the Watch Hill Inn, the
Gansett Cruise provides round-trip passenger ferry service from
Watch Hill to Stonington Ct. The ferry offers Buffet and Sunset
excursions. Accommodates 40 persons. |

| Golf |
We have several golf courses located within
30 minutes of the Watch Hill Inn. Some are private, but the public
courses are well maintained and offer a challenging game. Ask for

| Landmarks | The Watch Hill Carousel is an historic landmark which operates for children from Memorial to Labor Day. The flying horses with real horse hair is said to be the oldest carousel in the United States. | |||||||||
| The Watch Hill Inn built in 1845 is the only original dwelling structure still on its original footprint. The five story building is the tallest structure on Bay Street overlooking Little Narraganset Bay and its beautiful sunsets setting making yachts in silhouette. | ||||||||||

East Beach is a very white, sandy
beach running the length of the Atlantic Coast. Great for long walks passing the fabulous beachfront mansions. |

Napatree Beach is west of the
Historic Watch Hill Light House running 1 1/2 miles long to the old
Spanish Fort location long taken by the sea. This is an ideal beach for
joggers who like the natural environment of Osprey and Plover bird
sanctuary. From the Old Fort, you can see New York, Rhode Island, and
Connecticut States. |

Westerly has two terrific facilities, one of
which has indoor courts for rainy weather. Reservations are required. |

| Transportation |
The Westerly Airport with its 3,000 foot
runway is ideal for small jets and private props for access to Block
Island and eastern Long Island. Private charters are available. |

| Walking Trips |
Watch Hill as a community is filled with
beautiful mansions and historic homes which can be accessed on foot. |

The natural trails on the west side of
Napatree Beach offer glimpses of the Osprey and Plover sanctuaries
hidden among the high reed and beach grass. The trails are well
maintained and a very pleasant walk. |
